JOOUST STAFF WELFARE LAUNCHES SERVICE VAN

The University Staff Welfare Office today launched a van that will be used to provide Services to its members and the community. The multipurpose, state of the art vehicle will act both as a hearse and a transportation van.

The Van costing a total of Ksh. 3M was launched at the University Administration Block by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Agong’. “This important facility will enable the University to supplement its resources as well as benefit staff and community members by offering services. We did not imagine 7 years ago when we launched the BBF that it would grow to such heights, this is indeed commendable. “Said Prof. Agong’.

The Patron of the BBF, Prof. Francis Anga’wa commended the committee members for prudent management of resources that culminated into this worthwhile venture. The Chairman of the committee Dr. Francis Odundo thanked the members for their cooperation and said that the vehicle was a demonstration of growth and progression and will be available for use to provide services to the University staff.
