The newly elected Student Governing Council was sworn into office on the 27th of February, 2019 by the Vice–Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Agong’.
This follows a successful exercise conducted by the Dean of students’ office and the Electoral Board in the just concluded student elections. Among the new leaders is the Chairman Mr. James Steve, Vice Chair Ms. Patrah Murangi, Secretary General Mr. Geoffrey Kilozo Mulwa, the treasurer Mr. Kiptoo Patrick, Director Co-Curricular Mr. Kasuku Brian, Director Curricular Ms. Purity Mugambi and Director Welfare Ms. Winnie Jemutai.
This team shall be supported by a body of Congressmen, whose election will be held on the 1st of March, 2019. The University wishes them well on as take up their leadership role.
