Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology conducted mid- term review of its Strategic Plan (2016/17-2020/21). A technical team comprising of the University Management Board members and Planning Department convened in Kisumu from 17th to 19th February, 2019 to develop a draft of the revised Strategic Plan.
The review was done to align the University’s Strategic Plan to Kenya’s Vision 2030 Medium Term Plan (MTP) III and incorporate the President’s Big Four Agenda initiatives among other national priorities. The Strategic Plan was also aligned to macro-level and relevant National, Regional and International Policy frameworks.
This workshop formed part of the participatory review process that requires members of staff in Departments and Divisions to submit their input on areas necessary; A process that preceded the Strategic Plan review workshop.
