CITIZEN TV HOSTS BAMBIKA SHOW AT JOOUST

Students were elated to receive Citizen TV Bambika’s Crew for a live church service and Bambika Show on 23rd September, 2018. Rev. Dr. Akuno, the Registrar Academic Affairs officially launched the service by welcoming viewers countrywide who had tuned in for the church service. The service began with a session of praise and worship by led the gifted Ali Mukhwana in collaboration with the Christian Union team. 

Hundreds of faithful’s, students and staff members gathered at the rugby ground to share in this fellowship that was later crowned by a powerful sermon by Rev. Nyakinda themed; “The promises of God.”

Apart from The University being famed for having the longest name in the East African Region, Bambika Crew appreciated the enthusiasm exhibited by the students who turned up in large numbers. The crowd was entertained by the talented DJ Gee Gee, Zoe and Jabidii, together with presentations from JOOUST students. It was not all hype, as the students were encouraged to read the Bible on a regular basis as a means to develop vigilance in their walk with God.

The University thanks Citizen TV, for the privilege to broadcast the church service and all who tirelessly participated in making the day a success.
