UNIVERSITY COMMISSIONS E-LEARNING LABS

The University has today commissioned e-learning laboratories at its Main Campus in Bondo, Center for e-learning premises. The ceremony was officiated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Agong’. The e-learning laboratories will be used by lecturers and the e-learning students to access learning material through the computers. The Vice Chancellor said that the University is in the process of digitization of learning services for more efficient service delivery.The laboratory is also equipped with a document reader which converts both electronic and printed files to a more suitable form with the output enhanced to video, speech or braille. It also allows lecturers to make presentations that can remotely be accessed by the students in all the laboratories.  Mr. Mwangi, the CEO Smoothel Data Solutions said they were happy to be associated with the University and emphasized the need for Universities to adopt computing technologies since different students can be able to sit and work remotely with their profiles showing on the desktops.
