REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology intends to construct Administration Block Complex,
Tuition Block and Research Complex Buildings in their Main Campus, Bondo.
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology therefore invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from
qualified competent and registered consortia firms that comprises of Architects, Civil and Structural Engineers,
Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Building Services Engineers and Environmental Management Experts.
Interested qualified consortia firms stated in the above disciplines are invited to apply for Pre-qualification, indicating
their respective areas of competency, qualifications and experience by submission of the following documents/information
as mandatory requirements.
a) Company profile including certified copy of certificate of Incorporation
b) Certificate of Registration of the firm by recognized professional body (certified copy);
c) Professional indemnity cover (certified copy);
d) Current Certificate of Tax Compliance from Kenya Revenue Authority;
e) Current practicing license of key staff in every discipline and letter of good standing for the lead
person from the respective recognized professional body(ies);
f) Experience in related assignments supported by letters of reference from reputable clients;
g) Major related consultancy work undertaken in the last five (5) years;
h) Audited financial reports for the last three years.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) documents in plain sealed envelopes marked “Expression of Interest (EOI) for the
Building Consultancy Services for “Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology” should be
submitted in the Tender Box at the Reception Area, Administration Block, Main Campus on or before 8th SEPTEMBER,
2017 at 10.00a.m.
